DALHOUSIE

There are many places of interests from lakes, mountain tops to wildlife sanctuary.3 full days are enough to cover all the tourist points .Once you are in Dalhousie, you can expect to drop by the following places-
KHAJJIAR-
Given the name 'Mini Switzerland', Khajjiar is a vast meadow covered by pines and deodar forests. Khajjiar lake in the midst of the vast meadow carries its own beauty. The natural beauty, picturesque landscape, and soothing aura will leave an everlasting memory on any person visiting there. Not only for its surreal beauty but adventure seekers will also love the place.From paragliding, horse riding, zorbing, trekking and so many to name a few options for them. The green lushly meadows are also famous for golfers. Khajji Naga Temple is the most scared shine in Khajjiar. 
Khajjiar is almost 22kms from Dalhousie and one can visit in a day trip.
PANCHPULA-
Panchpula is most popular among tourists, who visit Dalhousie. For its refreshing water streams.amusement activities and certainly peaceful aura. Only 30 minutes ride from Dalhousie one can visit Panchpula during any time of the day.With all its narrow hilly paths, covered with dense coniferous forests,this place is a favorite among trekkers. This place is also a very popular picnic spot. It's the same place where Sardar Ajith Singh breathed his last, one can pay the respect by visiting his memorial too.
KALATOP SANCTUARY-
Almost 12kms from Dalhousie on the way to Khajjiar lies this beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary in the Kalatop hills.Known for its dense forests covered with pine, deodar, oaks trees its a well-known trekking site for both Kalatop and Khajjiar. The vast diversity of Flora and Fauna of the Himalayas can be easily found in the Sanctuary.This site boosts the glory of being the shooting spot for many  Bollywood movies, maybe if you are lucky enough you can be the part of one such shoot too.For people who love nature, they can stay a night at the Forest Guest House too. During winters the whole place gets covered by snow.
DAIKUND PEAK-
Daikund is the highest peak in Dalhousie and receives the maximum snowfall in winter months. One can get a picturesque view of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges including the valley. Tall and dense deodar forests and view of khajjiar lake will awaken your inner photographer. This is the perfect place for trekking. During monsoon, this place holds it's beauty the most. One can enjoy the cool breeze passing through the forests, for many this place is also called a singing hill.
CHURCHES AND THE DALHOUSIE MALL-
This town itself is a tourist hub, with all the churches, sunrise and sunset points, and the busy Dalhousie Mall. St Patrick's church, St John's Church, St Francis church are the most visited place. It's nearly impossible for anyone to visit a new place without taking a souvenir of that place. Gandhi Chowk market and Mall area are the main attraction. From exclusive local delights, handmade scarfs, sweaters, showpieces one can find everything. After shopping one can rest awhile in the benches outside the Mall road and enjoy the setting sun and grasp as much of beauty one can hold.
